April building activity in Quinte West was up substantially in 2019, compared to the same month in 2018.
The city issued a total of 119 permits last month, at a value of more than $37.8 million, compared to 63 permits in April 2018, valuing a little more than $6.5 million.
The highest valued permit was worth $10.4 million, for the build of the new OPP station at 3 Dixon Drive.
To date, the city has issued 231 permits worth more than $53.3 million, compared to 189 to this point last year, worth $20.3 million.
