A Napanee man is facing multiple charges including assaulting a peace officer and disarming a peace officer.
Lennox and Addington OPP were called to a home in Greater Napanee on Sunday night around 7:30 for the report of a domestic assault.
The 51-year-old man became physically aggressive said police, and managed to disarm the officer involved.
Additional officers attended the scene to assist in the arrest.
The man is facing charges of assault, uttering threats, breach of recognizance, disarming a peace officer and two counts of assaulting a peace officer.
The officer involved suffered minor injuries.
The suspect was held in custody and appeared in court on Monday for a bail hearing.
