Area OPP Auxiliary Units held an annual Easter food drive this past weekend, collecting non-perishable food items to support food banks in Hastings, Campbellford and Brighton.
A total of 5,900 pounds of food was collected, along with $1,154 in cash.
That food and cash will be distributed to local food banks ahead of the Easter Long Weekend, to support families in need.
