There will be playoff hockey in Wellington tonight.
Coming off a 7-2 loss to the Dukes on Tuesday the North York Rangers answered back with an 8-2 rout of their own last night.
The game was over early as the Rangers scored on 5 of their first 12 shots on Logan Bateman. Ironically Wellington held a 48-34 shot advantage but Bloomfield native Jett Alexander was outstanding. Quinn Hanna and Ben Woodhouse scored for the Dukes.
Wellington still holds a 3-2 lead in the OJHL South-East Conference final with game 6 at the Lehigh Arena tonight at 7:30. If a 7th and deciding game is necessary it will be Sunday afternoon at 3 at North York.
