Charges have been laid against a Belleville youth after another incident at a city school this week.
Police were called around 9:30 a.m. on Friday after the 16-year-old allegedly kicked a hole inĀ a classroom wall and left the school.
He was located Saturday morning, charged with mischief under $5,000 and released on a promise to appear.
His name is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Earlier in the week police had dealt with a 13-year-old boy who allegedly barricaded himself in a room with a knife, but no charges were laid in that case.
Meanwhile, repeated calls to police early this morning have led to charges against a 26-year-old man.
Police were called to an east end home for the second time, around 1:00 a.m., where the man had been drinking and was allegedly breaking glass inside and outside of the home.
Officers responded and arrested the man for breach of the peace and he was held until later in the morning, then released without conditions.
Investigators say the man suffered minor cuts to his hand but did not need medical attention.
