On January 19th the Belleville Senators beat the Utica Comets 5-2 in Utica. That win launched Belleville on a 17 game point streak. Tonight the B-Sens host Utica in the hopes a win will help launch them into the AHL playoffs.
There will certainly be a playoff atmosphere at the CAA Arena tonight as these teams meet for the final time this season. Belleville’s Chief Operating Officer Rob Mullowney calls it the biggest game in the Franchises relatively short history.
Belleville sits 4th in the North Division 4 points ahead of Utica and Cleveland with 11 games to go. The Senators lead the season series 3-2.
