19 year old Belleville Senators defenceman Erik Brannstrom will make his NHL debut tonight when Ottawa host the St. Louis Blues.
Brannstrom was acquired from the Vegas Golden Knights as a key part of the trade that sent Mark Stone to Nevada.
Brannstrom was a first round pick (15th overall) in 2017 by Vegas. He has played 5 games for the Belleville Senators since the trade in late February. Brannstrom will fill in for Mark Borowiecki who is under the weather.
Brannstrom becomes the 16th B-Sen to play for Ottawa this season and the 5th to make his NHL debut.
