A 60-year-old Quebec man is facing a careless driving charge following a motor vehicle accident on the 401 on Tuesday night.
Napanee OPP responded to the incident on the eastbound 401 just before the Shannonville Road exit around 9 p.m.
Police say the driver lost control and the tractor trailer ended up in the south ditch.
Alain Thibeault was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
The Ministry of the Environment attended the scene to deal with the diesel spill.
OPP advise the transport will be removed at a later date when it is safe to do so.
