The Belleville Senators will get the addition of a speedy Russian forward as part of an NHL trade between Ottawa and Columbus.
Vitaly Abramov is part of a package coming back to the Senators, after Ottawa moved Matt Duchene and Swedish defenceman Julius Bergman on Friday and will be assigned to AHL Belleville.
Abramov has 12 goals and 10 assists in 52 games with AHL Cleveland this season and is expected to join Belleville for their game in Rochester on Saturday.
Bergman had spent the season with Belleville after being acquired by Ottawa in the summer.
The Senators also get a first round draft pick in 2019, a conditional draft pick in 2020 if Duchene signs an extension with Columbus and Swedish prospect Jonathan Davidsson, who is currently under contract with Djurgardens of the Swedish Elite League and has 10 goals and 10 assists in 35 games this season.
