The Pegasus Cheer Athletics team from Belleville continued their great season finishing in first place at an event hosted by the Ontario Cheerleading Federation in Cornwall.
Five athletes competed at “Winterblast” in different categories and age groups and all five earned gold medals.
They are Emma Wright, Gabby Hanna, Jazzy Allwood, Grace Freeland and Hannah Phillips.
The event featured all star cheer, all star dance, high school and university cheerleading teams.
Raldane Jr. Bulls up 2-0
The Belleville Raldane Welding Jr. Bulls have taken a 2-0 lead on the Peterborough Petes in the OMHA Minor Bantam quarter finals.
Rylee Cotten, Davin Osmond and Owen Bird scored and Braeden Reid was solid in goal in a 3-1 victory.
