With one week to go in the Ontario Junior Hockey League season the Trenton Golden Hawks still have their eye on first place in the East Division.
Cameron Gaylor scored the winning goal and had an assist and Matt Nastasiuk scored short handed in Trenton’s 4-0 whitewash of the Lindsay Muskies. That’s the Golden Hawks 9th straight win leaving them two points behind Cobourg with two games left, ironically both are against the Cougars this weekend.

Benjamin AllardRobitaille stopped 25 shots for his 3rd shutout.
Matthew Barnes had an assist and says attitude will be a key against Cobourg this weekend.
Meanwhile the Wellington Dukes took the Cougars to double overtime before dropping a 3-2 decision. Nicholas Favaro scored twice including the winner for Cobour. Tyson Gilmour and Andrew Rinaldi scored for the Dukes who outshot the Cougars 49-36.
Wellington wraps up their regular season this afternoon in Whitby. The Dukes will finish in 4th in the East as they make the playoffs for the 30th straight season.
The Provincial Junior “C” Hockey League’s regular season wrapped up with the Napanee Raiders routing Port Hope 12-2. Evan Foley scored 3 goals with 4 assists for the first place Raiders. Cameron Harris added 3 goals with 2 assists.
Picton finishes in second place followed by Amherstview and Port Hope.
