Napanee OPP have made an arrest after investigating a complaint about drug activity on an area walking path.
Police were called to the path, between First Avenue and Belleville Road in Napanee, around 2:30 Thursday afternoon.
They attempted to arrest a man at the scene, but he ran away from officers and was arrested after a brief chase.
Forty-year-old Barry Kerlovich of no fixed address was found in possession of various drugs, scales and cash.
He was charged with two counts each of trafficking and breaching probation, along with a count of possession of proceeds of crime.
He was held for a Friday bail hearing.
