This year’s Food for Learning Feed the Meter campaign exceeded expectations.
Geoff Cudmore told those in attendance at Trenton High School, for their final cheque presentation of the day, what the total raised this year amounted to.
This is up over $2,000 over last year.
At Trenton High, the Food for Learning program helps to serve 120 students and provides three to four hot lunches a week.
Last year alone, schools in Hastings and Prince Edward counties served over 1 million meals and/or snacks.
