A Tweed man has been charged with drug offences following a police raid early Friday morning.
Members of the Community Street Crime Unit, Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team and K-9 Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Tweed, around 5:30 a.m., seizing Canadian cash and methadone.
Forty-three-year-old Jeffrey Grierson was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime and possession of an opioid for the purpose of trafficking.
He was released on a promise to appear in Belleville court on February 28.
