It is going to be an exciting weekend for the Belleville Bearcats Atom hockey team.
They were the winners of season 3 of Scotiabank’s Heroes of Hockey Day.
On Saturday, they will be on Hockey Day in Canada from Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
The team was selected because of a photo of the team laying around a heart made with pucks. It was in tribute to the Humboldt Broncos.
Then, in a head to head battle with the Lake Bonavista Breakers hockey team, they took part in three challenges as part of a video series with Scotiabank.
Hockey celebrities, which were part of the video series, included Ron MacLean, Auston Matthews, PK Subban, Lanny McDonald, and Cassy Campbell-Pascal.
