A local hockey team is going to be in the national spotlight this weekend, after a win on national television this week.
Scotiabank Heroes of Hockey Day Season 3 has been going on for the last several weeks.
It pits teams against one another in numerous head to head battles.
This years coaches were Auston Matthews, PK Subban, Cassy Campbell, Lanny McDonald and Ron MacLean.
This week, Subban, a former player in Belleville announced the winner, the Atom “A” Belleville Bearcats
The team is now off to Saskatchewan, where they will appear on Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada coast to coast.
