A 19 year-old man from Brighton is facing drug charges following a traffic stop early Wednesday morning.
Northumberland OPP say they stopped a vehicle on the eastbound 401 in Alnwick-Haldimand Township just before 2 a.m. today (Wednesday).
Officers discovered the driver had a warrant for his arrest and further investigation revealed illicit drugs in the car.
Jordan Bruneau is facing possession of cocaine and failure to comply with a probation order charges.
He is also facing seven offences under the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in court on March 13 in Cobourg.
