Prince Edward County OPP have charged Thomas McDowell in connection to a second drugging incident.
Police say back in October they began investigating allegations a woman had been unknowingly drugged.
As a result of their investigation, evidence was seized and the 64-year-old from Ameliasburgh was charged with overcome resistance by administering or attempting to administer a drug, administer noxious thing with intent – endanger life or cause bodily harm and traffic in schedule IV substance.
On Monday, a second victim came forward, leading officers to charge McDowell with additional charges of sexual assault, overcoming resistance, administering a noxious thing with intent, criminal harassment, trafficking a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
He is scheduled to appear in court on February 13.
