Two vehicles collided with the back of a school bus this afternoon.
The call came in at 3 p.m. for emergency personnel to attend 1108 Old Highway 2, between Aikins Road and Settlers Landing Drive.
Quinte West Fire Chief John Whalen says there were no children on the bus at the time of the collision.
The bus had stopped to let children off and a car ran into the back of the bus, followed by a second vehicle.
Both westbound lanes were shut down and traffic was getting through slowly using the centre median.
One woman was taken to Belleville General Hospital via ambulance with minor injuries.
Traffic is very slow moving through the area and avoid it if possible.
