The 2018 Annual Director’s Report from the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is now available and is called a success by the Director of Education.
The report was discussed on Thursday night during the school board’s monthly meeting.
Director of Education Mandy Savery-Whiteway says there is something new and exciting with this year’s report.
She says they have been looking for ways to share the great work that goes on in the board and build public confidence and this report achieves that goal.
The report showcases photos, videos, infographics, tweets and other new interactive components.
This is the first time the report has not been made in a paper format.
The report is broken down into chapters according to Kerry Donnell the Communications Officer with the HPEDSB.
People will see the Achieving Excellence and Equity portion, followed by Learning and Leadership, Public Confidence and Well-being.
The report is closed with a section titled Looking Ahead.
Savery-Whiteway says this report highlights the progress made on the four priorities in their 2015-2020 Strategic Plan: Possibilities Today & Tomorrow.
