An administrative change is being proposed for Bayside Public School.
In a report a committee of the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board will see Monday, staff
is suggesting that Bayside Public School students in grades 7 and 8 come under the supervision of Bayside Secondary School
administration.
There would be no physical changes if this move were approved as Bayside Public’s grade 7 and 8 pupils are already housed inside
Bayside Secondary School.
Board staff maintains the change would lead to improved program opportunities for the students.
Bayside Public would become a kindergarten to grade 6 school on two sites instead of the current three.
