There were two major hour fires in a four hour stretch Thursday for Quinte West Fire members.
Just before 7 p.m., dozens of members responded to a home at 1808 Harrington Road, just off Glen Miller Road.
An older home was fully involved when members arrived.

Up to $500,000 damage was done.

Around 3:30 p.m., fire crews were called to 164 Henry Street, near Trenton Memorial Hospital, after a home quickly went up in flames.
About 25 members fought the fire, which is believed to have started in the kitchen.
