Quinte West firefighters are currently on scene at a house fire in Trenton.
The call came in shortly before 3:30 for a working house fire at 164 Henry Street.
Reports say everyone is out of the home.
Fire Chief John Whelan says one man in in 60’s was transported to Trenton Memorial Hospital by paramedics to be treated for smoke inhalation.
He says it is an older home and they are currently working at keeping a neighbouring home from catching as well as they are located very close to one another.
There are 25 firefighters on scene.
Avoid the area if possible and road closures are in effect on nearby streets.
