Eighteen members of the Belleville Youth Swim Team competed against 28 teams from across Canada at the Pointe Claire Invitational meet over the weekend.
Peyton Mullowney earned a gold and 2 silver medals while breaking club records in the 13 and over AAA division.
Ashley Allaire, Victor Coutu, Alexa Martinez-Corchado and Victoria McDowell also advanced to the finals.
Peyton Mullowney, Ashley Allaire and Noah Brooks will compete against Canadian and international competition this weekend at the prestigious Ontario Junior International in Scarborough.
In the 13 and over AA category Owen Googe, Alexa Buchanan, Alexis Terrington, Justine Waldack and Tess Friar all made finals.
In the 11 and under category Maeve Mullowney and Jayden McDonald each registered top ten performances while Mullowney and Karissa Manlow stopped the clock in a best time in all 6 swims.
Other swimmers who recorded a best time at the meet included Shayla Coe, Carley Short, Jenna O’Neill, Nikki Cairns, and Mackenzie Wilson.
