3 games in 48 hours.
Unlike many teams in the American Hockey League the Belleville Senators don’t have many 3 game weekends. In fact, just two. The first has arrived.
Belleville entertains the Laval Rocket (Montreal Canadiens) tonight AT 7:05 (6:50 on CJBQ) and the Providence Bruins (Boston Bruins) tomorrow AT 7:05 (6:50 on CJBQ) before wrapping up the weekend with a Sunday matinee (3:50 on CJBQ) in Toronto against the Marlies (Toronto Maple Leafs). That game will be the first of 8 in a row on the road for the B-Sens including 7 before Christmas.
Tonight will mark the third meeting of the year between Belleville and Laval but the Rocket’s first game at the CAA Arena. The teams have split the first two games. It will also mark the Belleville debut of defenceman Stefan Elliott and winger Tobias Lindberg. Both were acquired from the Pittsburgh Penguins earlier this week in a deal that saw Ben Sexton and Macoy Erkamps go to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
You can hear all games home and away on CJBQ 800 Belleville. They are presented by Deerhaven Farm and Garden and Eastern Overhead Doors.
