Kingston Police say the threats made to three schools today (Wednesday) resulted in searches and a hold and secure status for the day.
A lockdown was first put in place at Regiopolis-Notre Dame Catholic High School around 9:30 this morning after threats were received about a suspect entering the school with weapons to cause harm.
The same threat was then made at Bayridge Secondary around 11 a.m. and Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School at 1 p.m. causing lockdowns there as well.
Police say the schools were searched and once deemed safe, placed in a hold and secure for the remainder of the day.
The investigation is ongoing.
