Peterborough schools have claimed both Central Ontario High School Senior football championships.
In Belleville the Crestwood Mustangs downed the St. Theresa Titans 25-15 win win the “AA” title. In Peterborough the Thomas A. Stewart Griffins scored a 63-15 decision over the Eastside Secondary Ravens.
The COSSA Junior football championships will be played today. Holy Cross meets the Centennial Chargers at Mary Ann Sills Park at 1 in the “AA” final. The Bayside Red Devils are in Peterborough to play St. Peter for the “AAA” title.
The COSSA senior and junior girls basketball championships are also on tap today.
