Steven Elliott’s 8th goal of the year early in the second period proved to be the winner as the Trenton Golden Hawks scored a 3-1 OJHL victory against the North York Rangers.
Griffin Fox scored short handed with Andy Baker adding an empty netter for insurance. Benjamin Allard Robitaille stopped 32 shots for Trenton.
The G-Hawks are in Lindsay on Friday night.

Matt Poole touched off a four goal second period to lead the Picton Pirates over the Gananoque Islanders 6-3. It was Poole’s second of the game.
In Napanee Brody Maracle scored the hat trick while Cameron Harris added a pair in the Raiders 9-2 romp over Georgina. Ryan Casselman scored a goal with 4 assists and Austin Labelle added 4 assists for Napanee.
And Little Britain roared back from a 4-1 deficit to beat the Campbellford Rebels 9-5. Benni Scarr scored 4 times for Campbellford.
