It’s round one in the American Hockey League version of the “Battle of Ontario” tonight at the C.A.A. Arena.
The Belleville Senators open a 5 game homestand with a pair of weekend game against the defending Calder Cup champion Toronto Marlies.
Mike Condon is expected to get the start in goal for Belleville as he plays in his first AHL game in four years. Ottawa has also returned forward Jack Rodewald which will boost the B-Sens offence.
There are tickets available for both games this weekend.

While the Battle of Ontario plays out in Belleville, the third round in the “Battle of Quinte” is on tap in Trenton.
The Wellington Dukes visit the Golden Hawks at 7:30. Trenton is undefeated in their last 4 including back to back shutouts last weekend. In fact, Trenton’s last loss was two weeks ago to Wellington. The Dukes lead the season series with a win and a tie.
In Junior “C” hockey action tonight, the Napanee Raiders are home to the Little Britain Merchants at 7:30 at the Strathcona Paper Centre.
