Q.W. Hawks win Novice Tournament
The Quinte West Novice Hawks won the championship at the Pickering Bring Your “AA” Game hockey tournament. Q. W. defeated the Ottawa Valley Super Sevens 6-5 in overtime in the final. Coen Lowry scored the winning goal. Quinte West was 5-0-1 to win their second tournament in the last two weeks.
Myers turns in strong performance

Madison Myers of the Stirling Figure Skating Club finished 6th in a field of 32 att the Ontario Sectionals Invitational in Oakville.
Bazilsky doubles his weight
Connor Bazilsky of the Victory Barbell Club captured the mens 55 kilo class at the Fall Classic in toronto. Bazilsky snatched 80 kilograms while doubling his body weight at 113 kilos in the Clean and Jerk. Bazilsky now qualifies for the Canadian Nationals in the new year.
Junior Chargers win COSSA Rugby
The Centennial junior girls rugby team won COSSA gold on Friday after defeating Adam Scott 27-15 in the semi-final and blanking Holy Cross 14-0 in the final.
In the semi final, Elayna Reid led the way with 3 tries, while Tianna Anurukem and Sierra Wood each had one try. Laura Hill added a convert in the win.
Elayna Reid scored twice in the final with 2 converts from the foot of Laura Hill.
