A preliminary hearing will begin soon for a Belleville man charged with first degree murder and attempted murder after a Napanee woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Napanee in March.
Andrew Slapkauskas was also charged with dangerous driving and flight from police causing death.
A vehicle driven by the 42-year-old Slapkauskas didn’t stop for OPP in Napanee and eventually slammed into a car driven by an elderly woman who died at the scene.
A preliminary hearing will begin November 5 in Napanee. That hearing will determine if there’s enough evidence to go to trial.
