The Bay of Quinte boys high school soccer playoffs opened with quarter final action yesterday.
The Nicholson College Senior Crusaders blitzed the Eastside Secondary Ravens 4-nil to advance to the semi finals. Nicholas Roberto scored twice with singles by Alex Greenlees and Scott Fleming. Jackson Fox had the clean sheet.
The Bayside Red Devils also scored a 4-nil win over the St. Theresa Titans. Ethan Lockhart scored a pair with Miika Kari and Ashton Loder adding singles. Ryan Houlden and Gord Hutchison shared the shutout.
And the Prince Edward Collegiate Panthers edged the Centennial Chargers 2-1. Callum MacDonald and Gabriel Goad scored for PECI. Aidyn Goulah-Little replied for Centennial.
In Junior boys soccer, Prince Edward Collegiate rolled past St. Paul 4-1. Oaklie Armstrong, Kacey Cocklin, Nolan Walcott and Wyatt Slade scored in the win. Evan Jerrett replied for the Falcons.

The Quinte West Klemencic Homes Hawks have won the Justin Williams novice hockey tournament in Cobourg.
