Following two exhibition victories over the Laval Rocket the Belleville Senators have pared their roster to 24 players.
Forward Aaron Luchuk and defenceman Macoy Erkamps have been reassigned to the ECHL’s Brampton Beast by the Ottawa Senators while forwards Francoise Beauchemin and Boston Leier and goaltender Jake Paterson have been sent to Brampton by Belleville. Five others were released from their AHL training camp tryouts with Belleville.
The B-Sens open their second American Hockey League season this Saturday night against the Comets (Vancouver Canucks) in Utica. That game as well as all Belleville games can be heard on CJBQ and CJBQ.com.
Belleville’s home opener is Wednesday October 17th when they host the Binghamton Devils. (New Jersey)
