It is municipal candidates’ night Monday in Quinte West.
Residents will get a chance to see, hear, and meet councillors from Trenton, Sidney, Murray, and Frankford ward.
David Fairfield is the chair of the Quinte West Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee. He says there are a lot of new candidates challenging the incumbents, along with the battle for mayor.
Voting turnout has been very low in Quinte West in the last two municipal elections in Quinte West, 33 percent in 2014, 27 percent in 2010.
Doors open at 6 p.m., with the presentations at 6:30 p.m. at Trenton High School.
News Director John Spitters will moderate the live debate.
