Players were put through a rigorous first day as the Belleville Senators opened camp at the newly named CAA Arena.
Many of them had already attended the Ottawa Senators camp along with new head coach Troy Mann. He summed up the first day.
It’s a big camp with 30 players but Coach Troy Mann says that’s by design.
That’s when the Senators will play their first of two exhibition games against the Laval Rocket at the CAA Arena.
Meanwhile practices continue today and tomorrow at 10:30 with a scrimmage on Thursday at 9:30. The public is welcome to watch.
