The Belleville Professional Firefighters Association has thrown its support behind Mitch Panciuk to become the city’s next mayor.
Association President Jim Donovan announced the endorsement this morning, saying Panciuk has built a relationship with them through various events supporting kids in the community and by being open and approachable to them.
Donovan adds there’s one reason they aren’t supporting the incumbent mayor.
Panciuk says having the support of the association makes him feel proud and confident heading towards election day.
