The Loyalist Lancers have gone local with their first “Athlete of the Week” honours.
Belleville’s Taylor Wightman netted the first goal of the season for the Lancers Womens Soccer team which came in a loss to the Fleming Knights.
Wightman is one of the few returning players from last years club and has been cited for her performance and leadership in their three games to date.
