What a difference a day made for Quinte West’s Kendrick Webster at the Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship in Innisfil.
After an opening round 11 over 83 on Monday the 14 year old Webster shot a 1 under 71 to climb into a tie for 6th place 8 shots off the lead. Webster, who is the mens and junior golf champion at the Bay of Quinte Golf and Country Club had the second best round of the day at the National Pines Golf Club south of Barrie.
Caden Holmes of Napanee also made the cut. He’s 12 shots back.
