The Belleville Bulldogs Girls Under 17 squad has won the championship of the Toronto Rugby Union.
Addy Walker and Jasmin Wakeling scored two tries each as Belleville romped over Oshawa 46-10. Nadia Stinson, Amy Dirks, Megan Dyer and Mackenna Lachapelle also scored majors. Kiarra Millejours kicked 3 converts.
The Belleville Bulldogs advance to the Rugby Ontario Provincial Championships this weekend in Markham.
It’s been a big month for Belleville’s Addy Walker. She has just returned from Ireland where the Ontario Under 18 girls squad played four games and won them all. Fellow Bulldog Joleen Mason was also a member of the Provincial team as was Kennedy Feasby of Oshawa.
