Frankford’s Chloe Choinard and partner Mathieu Ostiguy of St.-Angele-de-Monnoir Quebec have opened the new figure skating season with a bronze medal.
Choinard, who is a graduate of the Stirling Figure Skating Club and Ostiguy finished third in the Junior Pairs event at the 2018 Summer Quebec Championships in Pierre fond, Quebec.
This is the second year the 16-year-old Choinard and 21-year-old Ostiguy have skated together. Last season they competed in the National Figure Skating Championships as well as the International Skating Union’s Junior Grand Prix series in Europe.
