The 2018 Ontario 55+ Games take place this weekend and 14 local athlehtes and officials will be among the 1400 participants in Mississauga. These games are held every two years and include bothy physical and mental challenges.
Taking part in basketball will be Aleisha Rose (Blvl) and Kira Fair (Carrying Place) as well as officials Justin Walsh (Blvl), Jaime McCaig (Blvl) and Steven Badgley (Madoc). Zoe Uens (Blvl), Keyara Nelson Blvl), Kaitlyn McNair (Corbyville), Sarah Roger (Brighton) and Jilly Maciver (Tweed) in hockey.
Matt Birchard (Blvl) competes in Mountain Biking, Callum O’Neil and Joleen Mason of Belleville in Rugby and Kieran Gerow (Brighton) in Field Lacrosse.
The games will be held tomorrow through Sunday.
