The case against a former Belleville tattoo artist has been put over until September.
Kenneth Wayne Melvin appeared in court today at the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse in front of Justice Gary Tranmer with defence attorney Mike Pretsell.
A trial date was unable to be set for the case and was put to assignment court on September 7.
In April 2017, Melvin was charged with more than 30 counts including child pornography, sexual assault, unlawful confinement and criminal harassment, but the Crown has withdrawn 11 of those.
Melvin was charged after there were multiple complaints from people about being sexually assaulted during appointments at his now closed tattoo and piercing shop, on Dundas Street East.
