A number of gun charges have been laid against a Napanee man, who was arrested on a provincial offences warrant, on Wednesday.
OPP responded to a 911 call on Palace Road, in relation to a domestic disturbance, where the woman involved had left the scene and was waiting at a safe location for police to speak to her.
Officers found the 28 year-old man, whose name wasn’t released and he was charged with pointing a firearm, careless use of a firearm, possession of a firearm or ammunition while prohibited, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and three counts of uttering threats.
He was held in custody by Napanee OPP with a bail hearing scheduled today.
No other information was released.
