The Quinte region received a lot of rain Wednesday, with the vast majority of it falling in a short time during a thunderstorm early in the evening.
Environment Canada, using readings taken at CFB Trenton, says we received 29 mm of rain, or over an inch.
As much as that is, it wasn’t even close to the record rainfall on a June 13 in this area.
The record is 44.2 mm , set 15 years ago, in 2003.
