(Matthew Hubbarde)
It might be mid June but the Trenton Golden Hawks have been busy building their roster for the upcoming season.
Yesterday Trenton announced their first trade with Wellington in ten years sending goaltender Carson Poulin to the Dukes for defenceman MacKenzie Warren.
Today they have acquired 18 year old forward Matthew Hubbarde from the North York Rangers for future considerations. The speedy Hubbarde scored 6 goals and 8 assists in 36 games in his first year in the OJHL.
Golden Hawks Director of Hockey Operations John MacDonald says there could be more announcements later in the week.
