It’s a bronze medal for Napanee’s Britt Benn and the Canadian Women’s Rugby 7s team in Paris.
Canada defeated France 17-10 to finish third at the HSBC World Rugby 7s series which is the last stop before next month’s World Cup in San Francisco.
Earlier Britt Benn had scored her 49th career World Series try. Canada has finished third in the World Series five times in the last six years.
