Belleville Police are looking for a wanted man after a search near Station Street yesterday.
Around 1 p.m. patrol officers saw the man, who was wanted for failing to attend court and breaching his curfew, but he ran away when they approached.
Officers chased him through back yards around Station and Bettes Streets, set up a perimeter around the area and used the K-9 unit to try to locate him, but were unsuccessful.
Investigators are now putting out a bulletin for 37-year-old Shane McFarland, who was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue hoodie, grey track pants and a black ball cap, with wire rim glasses.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact Belleville Police or Crimestoppers.
