Belleville police officers dealt with two domestic disputes Wednesday.
Both involved allegations of assault by boyfriends on their girlfriends.
The first incident occurred on Pine Street at 11 o’clock Wednesday morning. A man had left the scene but police arrested a 36-year-old Belleville man on George Street and charged him with assault and uttering threats.
The second incident occurred shortly after 11 o’clock Wednesday night on Albion Street. A woman in her 20s said she’d been in a dispute with her boyfriend. When she left the residence someone kicked in the front door.
A man was arrested on Bridge Street and charged with assault and mischief.
