Bancroft OPP have charged a 60-year-old man with multiple charges after beginning an investigation last month.
Police were called to a domestic dispute complaint in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands on April 21.
Officers discovered there were several allegations spanning from 2003 to the present.
The man is facing two counts of assault, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, mischief under $5,000 and sexual assault.
The man appeared in court in Belleville on April 24.
No names will be released say police to protect the victim’s identity.
