The Hastings Prince Edward District School Board is expected to make decisions regarding major infrastructure upgrades at its regular meeting tonight.
School board staff is recommending Crawford Roofing do roof upgrades on Marmora Public School at a cost of almost $481,000, the low bid.
And, staff is recommending Dafoe Roofing upgrade the roof on Trenton High School at a cost of almost $580,000, also the low tender.
Meanwhile, staff is recommending BridgeCast Inc., the only bidder, do telecommunications upgrades at Athol South Marysburgh Public School, Deseronto Public School, Tyendinaga Public School, Foxboro Public School, and Susanna Moodie Elementary School at a cost of $632,000.
The work involves wiring upgrades for telephone, public addressing, security cameras, alarms and other systems.
